You'll meet your specialist cosmetic dentist in person. They'll give you a full examination, take any necessary panoramic X-rays (all free), and finalise the smile design (shape, size, and shade) that you discussed online.
Once you are 100% happy, the dentist will gently "prep" (minimally file) your teeth and take digital scans for the lab. You'll be fitted with a high-quality set of temporary veneers, so you can leave the clinic feeling confident.
This is your time to relax and enjoy the city. While you're sightseeing, our master lab technicians get to work. They'll use your digital scans and CAD/CAM technology to meticulously craft each individual Ivoclar Emax® veneer to your exact design.

The good news? It’s really simple. With the right care, your new smile can last for 15 years or more. Think of this as protecting your investment.
You don't need any special, complicated products. Just good, simple hygiene.
Brush Twice a Day: Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and, very importantly, a non-abrasive toothpaste. Gritty, whitening toothpastes can scratch the glaze over time.
Floss Every Single Day: This is the most important rule. You can't get a cavity in the veneer, but you can still get one in the natural tooth underneath it, especially right at the gum line. Flossing keeps this area clean.
Regular Mouthwash: Any standard antiseptic mouthwash is perfectly fine to use.
Treat your veneers with respect, but don't be afraid of them. You can eat normally. Just avoid using your teeth as tools.
Don't open packets, bite nails, or chew on pens. This is how you chip a veneer (or a real tooth!).
Be careful with super-hard foods. Avoid biting down directly on things like ice cubes, nuts, or hard candy.
If you clench or grind your teeth at night (your partner might tell you!), you must wear a protective night guard. This is the number one thing that can damage veneers. We can have a custom-fitted one made for you at the clinic.

Think of it this way: a veneer is like a false fingernail. It's an ultra-thin shell that only covers the front of your tooth to change its look. A dental crown is like a helmet or a cap. It covers the entire tooth (360 degrees). We use crowns when a tooth is very broken, weak, or has a huge filling.
Absolutely not. That's a huge myth, often related to aggressive crown preparations. For Emax® veneers, the prep is minimal. Because they are so thin (around 0.3mm), our partner dentists only need to file 0.3mm to 0.5mm from the front of your tooth. This is just enough to make sure the veneer bonds perfectly and doesn't look bulky. Your natural tooth stays strong underneath.
No, you won't feel any pain. The entire "prep" (filing) and "fitting" (bonding) process is done using effective local anaesthesia. Your teeth will be completely numb. You might feel a little sensitivity in your gums for a day or two afterwards, but that's it. It's a very comfortable procedure.

Emax is a type of glass-ceramic and has a super-smooth glaze. It is highly resistant to staining. It won't stain like your natural teeth or cheaper composite bonding. You can drink coffee and red wine (in moderation!) without worry. Cevap (Break): They are extremely strong, but they can chip if you do things like open packets with your teeth or bite down on an olive stone. This is why we say: treat them like your natural teeth.

Composite bonding is a great, one-day fix for very small chips. But it is not a long-term solution like Emax. Composite is a resin (plastic) material that will stain over time and is much weaker. It typically needs to be repaired or replaced every 3-5 years. Emax (porcelain) is a 15+ year investment that is stronger, looks far more natural, and will not stain.
